]]>Oh My God and Team WE will clash on Saturday, March 30, in the opening round of the League of Legends Pro League (LPL) 2024 Spring playoffs. The two sides last met in the first week of the regular season, when OMG won, and there’s a good chance they’ll recreate that success on Saturday.
Team WE finished the regular season in ninth place, one below Oh My God, albeit with the same 8-8 record. Not only have the two teams won the same number of games, they also hold similar performance metrics.
Oh My God and Team WE both averaged just north of 1,800 gold per minute, and they hold similar first blood (40.5%–39.5%) and first tower (43.2%–48.6%) stats. Besides the numbers, OMG and WE also ended the LPL Spring regular season in concerning form.
Team WE had a strong start to the year but ended the group stage with four very concerning losses against Rare Atom, Top Esports, ThunderTalk Gaming, and LNG Esports. Their 2-0 sweep of UltraPrime in the final week was a nice bounceback, but WE’s results were far from great over the last three weeks.
Oh My God have been a mediocre team throughout the regular season. Still, they’ve had some elite performances, showing they have a high ceiling.
OMG will have side selection for this series — which, considering they have a +50% win rate on red side, might not mean much. However, Team WE are one of the league’s worst offside squads, which makes backing Oh My God to win the first map a very inviting option at $1.73 with top esports betting sites.

]]>The League of Legends Pro League (LPL) Spring 2023 Playoffs are now well and truly underway, with no.1 seed JD Gaming meeting no.5 seed Bilibili Gaming this Wednesday in the fourth round.
JD Gaming finished the LPL Spring 2023 regular season with a 13-3 record and a map difference of +20, whereas Bilibili Gaming went 10-6 with a +8 map differential. Both teams enter this upper-bracket semifinal in excellent form, having won seven of their last eight series, including BLG’s last two playoff victories.
After finishing third-fourth in the 2022 LoL World Championship, JD Gaming entered the LPL Spring split as the outright favourite with esports betting sites. After starting slowly with their new-look roster, JDG soon found their groove with off-season signings Zhou “knight” Ding and Park “Ruler” Jae-hyuk starring. Ruler topped the charts with a massive 9.0 KDA ahead of knight, who ranked equal-second in the league with a respectable 6.3 KDA. There is no doubt that those two will play a prominent role in the playoffs.
Bilibili Gaming entered the 2023 LPL Spring split with four brand-new members, with Chen “Bin” Zebin the sole player who remained with the team after the 2022 season. With the new additions to the roster, BLG struggled to start the group stage, with some inconsistent performances leaving them in the mid-table battle for most of the regular season. However, they were able to jump from ninth place at the end of Week 7 to fifth place at the end of Week 10, thanks to a run of five wins from six games to finish the group stage.
In Week 1, JDG defeated BLG 2-1 in a close series, with the third map lasting nearly 48 minutes – one of the longest games for the entire group stage. JD Gaming have been the best team in the LPL Spring split, and we expect them to make it all the way to the grand final, so we will back them to win this series over Bilibili Gaming.

]]>?The League of Legends Pro League (LPL) 2023 Spring Playoffs continue into the final round of the single-elimination bracket on Tuesday, April 4, as LNG Esports take on Oh My God. The offered LoL betting odds suggest it should be a lopsided affair, but the playoffs have already produced enough upsets to believe another might be on the horizon.
Oh My God enter the third round of the LPL 2023 Spring Playoffs following a shock 3-2 victory against Top Esports. But for OMG to take one step further and enter the double-elimination bracket, they’ll have to do it again on Tuesday.
LNG Esports were one of the most dominant teams of the LPL 2023 Spring regular season, which they ended with an equal-best 13-3 record – alongside EDward Gaming and JD Gaming – and a 72% map win rate. LNG’s only losses came against Ninjas in Pyjamas (1-2), EDward Gaming (0-2), and JD Gaming (1-2).
On paper, LNG Esports look significantly stronger than Oh My God. But OMG showed good qualities in their win against Top Esports over the weekend, proving they can be competitive. While it must be noted that TES can lose to anyone, that doesn’t mean that Oh My God aren’t capable of troubling LNG.
Priced at $3.50 with GG Bet, Oh My God are heavy underdogs, and even though LNG Esports are an excellent team, the offered LoL betting odds don’t seem right. OMG have a solid roster with a consistent top-laner in Deng “shanji” Zi-Jian, a stable mid-laner in Lin “Creme” Jian and an excellent jungler in Mao “Aki” An, who played a key role in OMG’s win over Top Esports.
The outsiders have shown that they can dance with one of the most stacked rosters in the league, so even though beating LNG won’t be easy, OMG have the tools to make life a bit tougher for the Lee “Scout” Ye-chan and his squad.

]]>Royal Never Give Up will take on Bilibili Gaming this Saturday in the League of Legends Pro League (LPL) 2023 Spring Playoffs, with the winner advancing to face Weibo Gaming in the third round.
RNG left quite a statement with their 3-1 victory against ThunderTalk Gaming in the opening round. But regardless of the dominant win, they still enter this match as underdogs.
Bilibili Gaming finished the regular season in fifth place, with a 10-6 record, just one win short of catching up with Weibo Gaming in fourth. Besides ending the season with a better record than Royal Never Give Up (8-8), Bilibili also defeated RNG (2-1) at the start of March.
We praised Royal Never Give Up and their high ceiling, but even in their win against ThunderTalk Gaming, it was obvious that things weren’t clicking the way they should. Although still a formidable team, defeating Bilibili Gaming might be a tall order for Chen “GALA” Wei and his crew.
Bilibili are a team with very high expectations, and even though their regular season run didn’t go as planned, the talent is still there. The team’s main strength comes from the bottom-lane duo of Luo “ON” Wen-Jun and Zhao “Elk” Jia-Hao, who is arguably one of the best and most flexible ADC players in the league.
But even if things don’t go as planned in the bottom lane, BLG still have former MSI champion and LoL World Championship finalist Chen “Bin” Ze-Bin to do damage through the top lane. This, combined with a very solid mid-jungle duo, makes Bilibili Gaming a very tough team to beat, and we haven’t seen enough from Royal Never Give Up to believe they can do it.
We’re taking Bilibili Gaming to win with at least two maps to spare, although you can’t go wrong with a moneyline bet at the offered LoL betting odds.

]]>?The League of Legends Pro League (LPL) 2023 Spring Playoffs kick off on Thursday, March 30, with the opening-round clash between Royal Never Give Up and ThunderTalk Gaming.
Many expected Royal Never Give Up to be one of the strongest teams in the league, but things didn’t go as planned. In the end, RNG barely made it into the playoffs, finishing the season with an 8-8 series record, just one win above the cutoff line. However, they could’ve easily finished top six had they not lost against Ninjas in Pyjamas (0-2) and Rare Atom (1-2) in the final week.
ThunderTalk ended the regular season in eighth place with a 9-7 record and went 2-2 across the final two weeks, with wins against Anyone’s Legend (2-0) and Top Esports (2-1) and losses against Bilibili Gaming (0-2) and EDward Gaming (0-2). Although decent results, TT Gaming haven’t shown anything outstanding this split.
Neither team is great, and it’s tough to imagine a scenario where either makes it past the second round. However, Royal Never Give Up is a very talented squad that might wake up in the playoffs. It doesn’t look like it now, but considering the quality of the players on this roster, it’s hard to doubt them.
Royal Never Give Up don’t look stronger than ThunderTalk Gaming ahead of this series, and some might even argue that TT have a better chance to win. Yet the raw talent and high ceiling RNG have is enough to persuade us to side with them for the first round of the LPL 2023 Spring Playoffs.

Best Odds: | TES $2.20 @ GG Bet | V5 $1.72 @ GG Bet |

Last time they met: Top Esports (3) defeated Victory Five (2) in the first round of the upper bracket finals. TES completed the reverse sweep over V5 after they lost the first two maps and then won the last three. The MVP of the series was TES mid-laner, Zhuo “knight” Ding, after he compiled a series-best 6.4KDA and only died four times in their three wins over the last three maps.
Top Esports tasted their first defeat in the 2022 LPL Spring playoffs when they lost their last series 3-1 to Royal Never Give Up in the upper bracket final. Before that loss, TES had not lost a series in the playoffs recording wins against Bilibili Gaming (3-1), LNG Esports (3-0) and Victory Five (3-2), and they were the hottest team in the LPL.
TES have the wood over Victory Five in recent times after they beat them 3-2 in what started off as a close first two maps, but then TES took over and blew V5 away in the fourth and fifth map with both games only lasting 27 and 28 minutes. If TES plays the same way they played in map four and five last series against V5 in this series coming up, they could easily blow V5 away in this lower bracket final.
Victory Five have only played two series so far in the LPL Spring playoffs and they have a fifty-fifty record, with a loss to Top Esports (3-2) and a win over JD Gaming (3-1). V5 finished the regular season with the best record of 14-2 and finished as the top seed two games clear of second seed Royal Never Give Up. V5 will have been very disappointed in their first series loss to Top Esports conceding the reverse sweep but they were quite impressive in the last three maps against JD Gaming after losing the first map which was very close to going either way.
Victory Five beat JD Gaming for the first time throughout the split last series after losing to them during the regular season, meaning they only have a losing record to one team, Weibo Gaming, in the 2022 LPL Spring split. However, V5 beat TES during the regular season 2-1 in a tight series, but TES turned the table on V5 in the playoffs which leaves the series win totals at one win each heading into this third series between one another. V5 will need to be much better than they were in those last three games against TES last time and still even better than they were against JD Gaming otherwise they will be going home.
Top Esports will go into this series with confidence after they were able to dismantle V5 in their most recent five map series, specifically in the last three maps. V5 won’t want to go home before the Grand Final after finishing as the top seed and Top Esports will want to make it the Grand Final for another chance to beat Royal Never Give Up.
Therefore, this game should be going all the way to five maps here and that is our suggested bet. Over 4.5 maps is $2.62 with GG Bet.

Top Esports and Royal Never Give Up will battle it out in a BO5 series with the winner going through to the grand final and will await the winner of the lower bracket final. The fifth seed from the regular season, Top Esports, finished with an 11-5 record whilst the second seed, Royal Never Give Up, finished with a 12-4 record.
Last time they met: RNG (2) defeated Top Esports (0) in week four. RNG’s mid-laner Li “Xiaohu” Yuan-Hao was the MVP of the series by a long way, ending the two maps with an unbelievable 31.0KDA.
Top Esports entered the playoffs having won nine of their last 10 series and had won their last two series of the regular season. Since the playoffs have started, TES have won another three series, putting them on a current five-game win streak through the regular season and playoffs and meaning they have won 12 of their last 13 series. To say that TES are the hottest team in the LPL Spring split is no understatement.
TES will have to be better than they were last time they faced RNG where they lost 0-2, but they were in both games up to their eyeballs, with the first map lasting 43 minutes. With the form that TES are in at the moment, we expect them to much more competitive with RNG and take at least one map and maybe even win this series.
Royal Never Give Up are on a win streak of their own, with RNG winning their last two games of the regular season to secure the second seed and then they beat JD Gaming in their first playoff series to extend their streak to three games now. Although RNG finished the regular season with 12 wins and four losses, three of their four losses came against teams ranked outside of the playoff spots and their other loss was against the top seed in Victory Five.
RNG have been very good and consistent when they did play against the top six teams this split, outside of Victory Five, beating every one of Top Esports, LNG Esports, Weibo Gaming and JD Gaming throughout the regular season rather comfortably.
RNG will need to start this series a lot better than they did against JD Gaming in their last series and not go down 0-2 against this very hot Top Esports. If they don’t, they may not get the same chances to reverse sweep TES like they did to JD Gaming.
Even though TES lost the last series against RNG, they were very competitive and they look to be a much better team at the moment. We are definitely on the Top Esports bandwagon here. TES are the hottest team in this LPL Spring split and we see no reason to back against them here in what could be the most important series for them in some time.

The first round series of the lower bracket will bring us a BO5 between Victory Five and JD Gaming. V5, who finished the regular season as the number one seed and with a 14-2 record, fell to the rampant Top Esports 3-2 in their first round playoff series. Whilst JDG, the third seed with an 11-5 record, were ultimately defeated by Royal Never Give Up in a tight series 3-2.
Last time they met: JD Gaming defeated Victory Five 2-0 in week seven. JD Gaming took down Victory Five in dominant fashion with some outstanding team-fighting and great individual gameplay by their support and AD carry in the bottom lane.
Victory Five were on the receiving end of the most feared way to lose in any sport, the reverse sweep. They took the first two maps against Top Esports and were cruising into the upper bracket final, but then Top Esports went on to win the next three maps completing the reverse sweep.
There seems to be a trend that is working to beat V5 during the back end of the LPL Spring split. If you can ban the champion ‘Orianna’ during the pick and ban phase and take her away from V5’s mid-laner Song “Rookie” Eui-jin, you will have a much better chance of beating V5. “Rookie” has a 100% win rate when he plays ‘Orianna’, therefore we are sure JDG will definitely ban her, much like they did when they beat V5 2-0 in the regular season.
JD Gaming were also on the receiving end of a reverse sweep against the number two seed Royal Never Give Up, where JDG won the first two maps in very close game. However, then RNG went on to win games three, four and five quite quickly to take the series. Once RNG banned the ‘Lee-Sin’ away from JDG’s jungler Seo “Kanavi” Jin-hyeok, it seemed that they finally had gained an advantage and therefore ran away with the series.
JDG were on a seven series win streak before their loss to RNG in the first round of the upper bracket, having beaten Weibo Gaming in their last regular season series and their round of six series to make the upper bracket and final four. JD Gaming will have to find the form that saw them finish the regular season as one of the hottest teams in the LPL and what saw them sweep Victory Five in week seven, to once again get past the top seed in this series.
One of JDG and V5 will be eliminated after this series, with either the top seed or the third seed going home. We believe that the top team in the LPL, V5, will bounce back in this series, but it still won’t be enough to beat JDG. JDG in the win market is currently $2.37 with the top esport betting sites and that is great value for the outsiders.

The second seed from the 2022 League Of Legends Pro League (LPL) Spring split, Royal Never Give Up (RNG), will take on the third seed, JD Gaming, in what will be the second round one upper-bracket BO5. RNG finished in second place with a 12-4 record and a +11 map difference. Whereas for JD Gaming, they finished in third place with an 11-5 record and a +14 map difference, gaining them the third spot in a tiebreaker with LNG Gaming, Top Esports and Weibo Gaming who all finished with an 11-5 record.
Last time they met: Week 1 – RNG (2) defeated JD Gaming (1), with Chen “GALA” Wei of RNG finishing the clear MVP for this BO3. “GALA” compiled a massive 16.5KDA whilst only dying twice over the three maps.
Royal Never Give Up finished as the clear second best team in this year’s LPL Spring split, even though their record was only one win better than the four teams below them. During the regular season RNG only lost to one team inside the top eight, which was against Victory Five who finished in first place. RNG lost 2-0 to Victory Five in week five of the split but then went on to finish the regular season by winning six of their last eight series, with their two losses coming against Team WE and Rare Atom 2-0, where RNG were far from their best and blew their chances of finishing on top of the standings after the regular season.
Throughout the split, RNG displayed to everyone that they now have a very good AD carry in Chen “GALA” Wei. He has started to come into his own with this roster and has shown that he can take over that coveted AD carry spot that was held by LoL legend Jian “Uzi” Zi-Hao for so long. “GALA” and RNG’s long-time mid-laner and Captain Li “Xiaohu” Yuan-Hao have become a deadly duo over this split since “Xiaohu” moved to the mid lane late last year. These two have combined to participate in over 65% of RNG’s kills and both have very good KDA’s with “GALA” having a 5.4KDA and “Xiaohu” having the fifth highest KDA in the LPL with a 6KDA.
JD Gaming ended the regular season with an 11-5 record with the highest round differential out of the four tying teams which gained them the third-place finish and a ticket straight into the last six of the playoffs. JD Gaming have lost five games throughout the 2022 split but they are one of the two teams who recorded a win against the first-place team Victory Five, where they beat them 2-0 in week seven. JD have had an up-and-down split, even though they lost five games, nine of their 11 wins were all clean sweep 2-0 victories, and all of their losses bar one were 2-1 losses showing that they were always tough to beat or they were the dominant team in their series.
JD Gaming have unearthed a talent that could soon be one of the best AD carries in the LPL, Wang “Hope” Jie, since he joined the team in January of this year. “Hope” completed the regular season split with the fourth best KDA of 6.2. Now that “Hope” has found his feet on this roster, the duo of “Hope” and Seo “Kanavi” Jin-hyeok is really starting to develop and become a problem for opposing teams. “Kanavi” himself gained a 1st Team All-Pro award from his outstanding performance in the 2022 LPL Spring split and in doing so helping take JD Gaming to the third seed alongside “Hope”.
Between these two teams there is plenty of talent on display and multiple awards winners on both sides, so we are set for a cracking BO5. We believe that this series is set to go the distance to five maps and GG Bet is giving us great odds of $2.62 for over 4.5 maps in the total maps market. Therefore, we suggest taking advantage of these great odds and enjoy this epic series.
