?CDL Major 4 is in the rearview mirror, and again, Atlanta FaZe failed to win the title, marking another disappointing run for the most successful team in Call of Duty League history. However, FaZe still finished third for the second Major in a row, which is no small feat.
With their third bronze medal of the 2023 season, Atlanta FaZe remain serious candidates to win the CDL Championship, but when we talk about the qualifiers, it’s fair to doubt them a bit. Besides the CDL Major 1 Qualifiers, FaZe have never looked particularly good online, with one fourth-place and two sixth-place finishes. So clearly, they’re more of a LAN team.
That doesn’t change the fact that FaZe are objectively much stronger than the Los Angeles Guerrillas, who placed 9th-12th at the Major and 11th in the qualifiers. They’re on an eight-game slide and have won just two of their last 14 series.
Atlanta FaZe might not be the most consistent online team, but $1.66 on FaZe to sweep the Guerrillas looks like a steal.

Las Vegas Legion looked surprisingly good in the CDL Major 4 Qualifiers, continuing their form from CDL Major 3, where they placed fifth-sixth. Unfortunately, the Legion failed to translate that to CDL Major 4, where they crashed out in the first round with defeats against New York Subliners (0-3) and Florida Mutineers (2-3).
OpTic Texas claimed their second Major silver medal last month, which secured them a spot in the CDL Championship. But they still have much more work to do if they want to take the regular-season title from Atlanta FaZe.
OpTic Texas and Las Vegas Legion last met in the CDL Major 2 Qualifiers at the end of January, when the Legion won 3-1. This result doesn’t indicate how the reverse fixture will go, but it proves two things we already know – the Legion are strong online, and OpTic are prone to dropping maps.
We don’t expect Las Vegas Legion to upset OpTic Texas, but they should be good for at least one map. So while the Legion with a +2.5 map handicap at [rm_geo odds val=1.53] is a solid choice, we will take our chances with a correct score prediction.
