The first two matches of Group B both start at 10am, Saturday, January 19, UTC+8.
Opening group matches:
– Team Secret vs. Thunder Predator
– Forward Gaming vs PSG.LGD.
Team Secret, is one of the top five Dota 2 teams in the world and has accumulated 3000 valuable Dota Pro Circuit Points, sitting second in the Dota Pro Circuit 2018-19 Rankings.
Team Secret restructured their roster after a disappointing performance at The International 8, taking in Nisha and Zai to replace Ace and Fata.
They been doing quite a decent job with their new roster and managed to secure themselves the second place in Kuala Lumpur Major, losing to Team Secret in the Grand Finals 3-2.

Thunder Predator is probably the weakest team in this tournament. They were the second runner up in The Chongqing Major South America Qualifier and would not have been competing in this main tournament before Valve disqualified Test123, the first place in The Chongqing Major South America Qualifier, announcing that Thunder Predator would replace them in the main tournament.
PSG.LGD is another top five team with expectations of winning this tournament.
They are one of the team that never make changes to their roster after The International 8. After failing to OG in the Grand Finals of The International 8, they obtained only 900 DPC points in the Dota Pro Circuit 2018-19 Rankings.
PSG.LGD has a wide heroes pool knowledge, a consistent squad and is capable of beating anyone on their day.

Last but not least, Forward Gaming is one of the strongest tier 1 teams in the tournament, sitting inside the top 10 on the Dota Pro Circuit 2018-19 Rankings.
The squad features talented players like Yawar, Resolution, Universe. MSS and SVG are the supports on this team, but need to improve if they are to be considered tier one options.
We can expect to see Forward Gaming perform incredibly well and upset PSG.LGD or Team Secret in the group stage.
